The Rob Allen Bait Ball Flasher is a spearfishing flasher that helps attract pelagic and reef fish during a dive session. It is a compact string of reflective metal flashers shaped like small baitfish and finished with a trailing swivelling tail that mimics natural movement in the water. When it is not in use, the whole string packs inside a waterproof storage capsule, which also acts as the float while the flasher is deployed.

How to use and care
Deploy the flasher from your float or line when you want to draw fish into range, and pack it back into the capsule when you are finished so the flashers do not tangle. Rinse the string and capsule in fresh water after use, dry them and store them out of direct sun. Make sure any flasher is deployed in a way that it cannot tangle with your float line or other gear. Flashers are most effective when used by divers who are comfortable keeping an eye on both the float line and the fish. Rinse the flasher after each use so that salt does not build up on the moving parts, and make sure the capsule is closed correctly before you travel with it.
