How to pick a Rob Allen dive mask
Single or dual lens
Dual-lens masks such as the Cubera and Cracker split the glass in two, which lets the frame sit close to the eyes for a low internal volume. The Trevally is a low-volume single-lens mask weighing 215 g, offering an uninterrupted view. Both styles work for spearfishing; choose the one whose frame fits your face and nose pocket best.
Face shape
Rob Allen describes the Freedive mask as ideal for medium or smaller faces, while the Snapper Evo has a medium-high volume and suits broad faces. If you have tried masks before, use that experience: a mask that leaked on you in one shape is likely to leak in a similar shape.
Clear or tinted lens
The Cubera comes with a clear lens or a red tinted lens. Clear glass gives natural colour and the most light in low visibility. For filming, the Replay carries a GoPro adapter; more mounts are in Camera Accessories.
FAQ
Which Rob Allen mask suits a child?
The Jump Junior is recommended for children aged 7 to 12 with smaller, narrower faces. The Cobia Junior combo adds a snorkel with a purge valve.
Can I replace a broken strap or buckle?
Yes. Silicone straps, Cubera buckles and Snapper and Trevally buckles are in Mask & Snorkel Spares.
Do you sell masks with a snorkel?
The Cubera and Cobia Junior are offered as combos. You can also choose separately from our diving snorkels.
