This category is the Rob Allen gadget shop: dive torches from 300 to 2100 lumens, dive knives such as the X-Blade, Dentex and Grewia, spearfishing DVDs, a GoPro speargun barrel mount, a video light and stainless swivel clips.
These are the smaller tools that make a dive safer, easier or easier to film.
Choosing dive torches, knives and accessories
Torches
A torch is essential for looking into holes and ledges, and for night or deep diving. Rob Allen dive torches range from the compact Caveman 300 to the Night Diver with up to 2100 lumens and a 150 m depth rating. Narrow beams, such as the Firefly's 10 degree beam, reach further; wide beams light a whole crevice.
Knives
Every spearfisher should carry a knife to dispatch fish quickly and to cut free from tangled line. The Rob Allen knives include the 105 mm X-Blade, the 180 mm X-Blade 2 with a built-in shaft extractor and the one-piece AUS 8 steel Dentex.
Filming and learning
The GoPro Speargun Barrel Camera Mount fits railgun barrels; it and the Video Light Pro sit in Camera Accessories. For inspiration, the DVD shop carries African Spearfishing Diaries, Blue Visions and other films.
